About Us

PEARL - PEoria Association for Religious Life

Faithful to the Magisterium and under the authority of the Bishop of Peoria, PEARL is an association of religious Vocation Directors, or their representatives, who collaborate to foster a culture of vocations in the Diocese of Peoria and promote vocations to religious life.
In short, we strive to Promote and Enliven Awareness of Religious Life.

Description

We are a group of Vocation Directors, and other representatives of religious communities, in the Diocese of Peoria.
We have come together to help promote the culture of vocations in the diocese and to show people the beauty and richness of religious life.
This association will enable the religious in the diocese to collaborate more closely and better work with parishes and diocesan groups in fostering vocations.

Participating Communities

Although not all the religious communities serving in the diocese are actively participating, PEARL will work with and remain in communication with any of the communities.
For a short discription of the member communities and other communities serving in the Diocese of Peoria, mouse over the third icon on the right of the screen (the one that looks like a tag) and click on "Communities".
